US Vietnam 173rd Airborne Division pocket hanger patch.
In Vietnam the US Army started to wear some unit badges as pocket hangers on the OG 107 and Chino uniforms.
These are made in the locally made style and have a stiffening backing and the badge is covered in plastic to help keep it's shape. There is a hanging tab at the top so it can be fastened onto the shirt pocket of the Vietnam OG 107 green fatigue shirt and the Summer service chino shirt.
