1871 General Service GS white Haversack with shoulder Strap (Anglo Zulu War 1879)
1871 General Service GS Haversack
This is the model that would have been used in the Anglo Zulu War of 1879 and has been designed with the help of Erwin Field and worn by the Diehards Re-enactment group. The haversack was worn over the Right shoulder and would have contained rations and personnel effects.

- 8 oz white natural canvas
- Solid brass buckles
- Long length shoulder strap upto 59" ( 150cms)
- Size 12" x 8" with a 2" expanding gusset
- Internal small pocket for paper work and 2 canvas loops for Spoon and Fork
- 2nd rear button to be used when bag is empty and rolls up out of the way
