1937 pattern B.D. trousers were issued to every soldier and Officer during WW2 and match Kay Canvas Battle Dress jacket. The 1937 pattern trousers were started to be replaced by 1940 model around 1942 but you can still see soldiers in normandy wearing 1937 model,
The wool fabric that Kay Canvas use in there Battle dress uniforms is specially blended using 1940 techniques and old vintage period mills. Everything from the spinning to the blending and dying of the colour of the wool is done exclusively for Kay Canvas.
The Bd's have supplied these to Re-enactors all over the world and to several major war films.
