1944 British Man pack GS frame and straps

Original British army 1944 pattern GS man pack carrying frame.

The man pack frame was first issued in 1945 to troops in the far east jungles of Malaya  and Borneo. It was used to carry anything from ammunition boxes to radios, loads were strapped to the frame using anyone of the multiple straps.

all straps  are dated 1945, stamped with stores code and manufacture

comes complete as original issue
