2nd Armoured Division Patch. 1930's style with wool edge
WW2 2nd Armoured Division shoulder patch.
This is an early pre war style badge originally introduced in the 1930's. This is distinctive in that it is made (embroidered) on wool so it has a brown wool edging to the 2nd Armored patch.
This where issued in WW2 as the US Army still had stocks of this badge at the beginning of the war, it is often thought that anyone wearing this type of 2nd Armoured patch has joined up and has been in the war for a while as later troops joining up would have been issued the later standard badges that where not made with the brown wool edging.
So if you want a veteran look, this US 2nd Armoured shoulder badge with the brown wool edging could just be for you.
Worn on combat jackets like the Tankers jacket and the Class A dress uniforms.
Price is for one 2nd Armored shoulder patch with brown wool edge.
