This badge set is what Infantry Soldiers would have worn on their Battle Dress clothing when based in UK and on combat operations.

• British 3rd Infantry Division during Operation Overlord Invasion of Europe Normandy 1944 

This Badge set would have been worn by all soldiers in the 2nd Royal Warwickshire Regiment on their BD Battle Dress uniform in Operation Overlord the Invasion of Normandy as part of the 3rd division when they arrived in landing Crafts on the morning of 6th June 1944, 

He was a member of the 3rd Infantry Division and so wears the Div patch and Infantry Arm of service stripes on both upper Arms with his Regimental shoulder titles above these.
