This is the cap that can be seen being worn by Elvis Presley in many photographs with his green a class tunic.
This was the green dress cap that was worn with the green 4 pocket Class A dress tunic which was called the Army green shade 44 dress uniform.
The US Army service cap was first issued in the 1950's and was still is use in the 1960's and through to the 2000's having only being replaced in about 2010.
