ACME Thunderer No 58 "J Hudson & Co" Whistle 1939 Nickel
The Model No58 ACME Thunderer whistle made by "J Hudson and Co" Birmingham nickel plated and dated 1939.
The ACME Thunder whistle can trace its military History back to 1914 when it was used during the Great War 1914-18 by Officers to tell soldiers to go over the top. It is still popular currently still issued today to the British Army. It would be used by Infantry NCO's, Officers and Military Police.

- On one side stamped W D (War Department) and War Arrow
- Large split ring on the back for lanyard
- Made of Brass which is Nickel plated

This ACME Thunder whistle is a current production made in the Birmingham, England by the same company using the same machines as back during WW1! Comes in a period cardboard box which is stapled and has a white printed label.
