American 1943 M43 Jacket by Mil-Tec
US WW2 M1943 combat field jacket. Issued to most branch of services, including the Airborne and Infantry, and replaced the likes of the M41 field jacket and the M42 para uniform.
By the winter of 1944/45 the US Army was changing the uniform of the combat soldier and the M43 uniform became standard issue to most branch of services. This green uniform gave some camouflage for the European theatre and was warmer and more durable than the M41 field jacket and the M42 para jacket it replaced. It was used in Holland, Battle of the Bulge (Bastogne) and in Germany.
