American WW2 Officers Field Shirt
WW2 Officers field shirt.
Officers purchased a lot of their own clothing and it was common for Officers (and in the American Army sometimes even non officers) to purchase their own combat shirt for the field. These where usually made from a softer wool and had a lining in the inside of the collar making them more comfortable.

- Smoother fabric than the standard enlisted issue shirt.
- Extra strip of fabric down the front so the button holes are better finished giving a smarter look.
