Army M42 Wool Tunic 1942 Felbluse By Richard Underwood
Heer Felbluse 1942. German Army M42 tunic.
In 1942 to meet the demand for uniforms the felbluse was modified yet again, the model 1942 felbluse tunic is easy to indentify from previous models as it does not have the dark green collar of the M1936 tunic or the vertical centre pleat on each front pocket. Pictured with the side cap and M43 field cap as although the tunic was introduced in 1942 it was seen worn till the end of the war.
This quality replica by Richard Underwood Militaria follows the design of the original M42 tunic and has the correct Heer insignia ready sewn on so it is ready to wear.

- 6 button front closure, in May 26 1941 the army circular HM 41 No. 558 ordered the addition of a sixth button. The sixth button was only added to the Heer M42 tunics, the SS M42 tunics stayed with 5 buttons.
- Heer breast eagle and swastika is the correct BeVo style badge in a greyer colour than used on the earlier tunics like the M36.

Internally there are 4 webbing straps with 4 eyelets at the end of each strap which match up to the eyelets on the tunic for the belt hooks. - Internal suspenders are no longer used so there are no provisions for them on the inside.
