The battle for Berlin started on 9th march with the depleted German garrison of SS, Army, Volksturm and Hitler Youth building a defensive line Called Operation Clausewitz. The Soviet Army advanced on 16th April and attached from North, East and South finally crushing the German Defenders and surrendering on May 2nd
This sign is impressive and will look good on your display or in your den. Its made of 18 Gauge steel like they would have been in the 1940's, With black lettering on a white background. The sign has then to add age and authenticity to it has been aged, scratched, rusted, chipped and bullet holes to finish it off
