British WW2 1937 Pattern Airborne Webbing Frog Kay Canvas
1937 pattern British Airborne bayonet frog for the Sten gun by Kay Canvas
This was a special piece of kit that was only issued to the British Airborne forces in WW2.
This bayonet frog fits onto the 37 webbing the same as a standard bayonet frog but it has an extra pouch fitted on the side which was designed to hold the Sten butt plate, this was used when the Sten gun was needed to be collapsed for jumping into a D.Z.
The pouch can also hold a Sten magazine loader so if you don't want to carry a butt plate you can always keep a loader at hand.
This replica was copied from an original Airborne bayonet frog from our personal collection.
