This hemp cord lanyard was issued to be used on a British army clasp/Jack knife, it it has a small loop on one side to attach to the Clasp knife and the other side features a large 50cm loop that can be worn over the neck or arm. The lanyard was often seen looped around the waist with the clasp knife then in the soldier’s pocket.
