The grenade was launched from the 303 enfield rifle which had a discharger cup fitted onto the end of the barrel.
The fins added stability and it detonated on impact. The No. 68 was introduced in November 1940 to the regular British Army and to the Home Guard in Febuary 1941.
This replica is made in one piece and has a replica safety pin and tag which reads "to be withdrawn from grenade before firing".
This is a plastic replica which has been hand painted to give a good finishing touch.
The body is marked No 68 A.T.I/L 1942.
