- Highly inflammable
- Brass screw top stamped Shell -Mex
- has been painted silver previously
- light surface rust looks much worse in picture than real life
This model was in use by military and civilians during the late 1930 and early 1940's seeing much used in the desert war before we copied the German jerry can which was a much better design
Not tested but there does not look like any rust or holes to cause a leak
