British WW2 Paratrooper Basic Uniform Set

This uniform set is what a British Paratrooper soldier would have worn when not in actual combat in NW Europe.

It is an ideal uniform set for when you are driving your jeep around Normandy or relaxing with a beer in the Dutch bar. To this end we have include the rubber soled DMS boots which are more comfortable and don't damage or scratch!

The camo scrim scarf was used to help break up the soldier shapes in the field but was often seen worn as a scarf, this allows you to wear any t-shirt under the Denison smock as it will be hidden by the scrim scarf! No need to wear the wool shirt or battle dress tunic.

This same uniform would have been worn from 1942 till the end of the war by all soldiers in both the 1st and 6th British airborne division in the UK, Normandy and Arhnem.

PLEASE NOTE: The Denison Smock sizes above are given as if you were wearing one of them in WW2 with Battle dress and wool shirt underneath plus still being roomy to store in extra gear you might need on landing. If you require a more fitted/ smart looking Smock then it might be worth choosing a smaller size. If you see original photographs of WW2 Airborne soldiers wearing Denison Smock’s then shoulders do hang off and the jacket is generally very loose/ baggy.
