Dads Army Captain Mainwaring Battle Dress Parade Uniform Set

A uniform set as would have been worn by the character Captain Mainwaring in the TV series and film Dads Army, as a Platoon Commander of the of fictional Walmington-on-Sea Home Guard, when on parade.

We have assembled this uniform package from our range of reenactment clothing and equipment which will portray the look of Captain Mainwaring from the TV series Dads Army. This includes the slight differences seen in the TV show and the film, when compared to the real Home Guard of the 40's, such as the use of binocular pouches for ammunition pouches rather than actual ammunition pouches!

We have also included all the insignia needed to portray Captain Mainwaring.

The set consists of all the items listed below under the "Pack Contains" heading, here you are able to select any sizes if applicable. The image is indicative of the pack but please refer to the Pack Contains for the items included.

For the 1937 webbing belt please select your size from; Normal up to 34" waist, Long 34" to 44" waist or X-Long 44" to 54" waist.

There are a few items not included in the set which you can purchase to finish off look such as the Webley pistol, whistle and lanyard. We have added them to the related products towards the bottom of this page.
