Helmet Cover Cotton Drill WW1 British Army Brodie
WW1 British Army Brodie Helmet cotton drill cloth Cover
The issue of the British Army Brodie steel helmet in WW1 helped saved Soldiers lives from shrapnel while they were in the trenches, but the helmet gave a very distinct silhouette while out of the trenches so the soldiers made covers that would hide the shape and also the shine of the brodie helmet with either a denim cloth helmet cover or from old Hessian sand bags.
