Fallschirmjager Jump Smock in Sumpftarnmuster Tan and Water Camouflage by RUM
WW2 Fallschirmjager German paratrooper 3rd Pattern M42 Jump Smock in Tan and Water Camouflage (which is also called Sumpftarnmuster camouflage) by Richard Underwood.
The Fallschirmjager like all paratroopers from all countries in WW2 had special clothing and equipment that the standard Infantry did not have, the jump smock was one of these unique pieces of clothing that only the German Paratroopers of WW2 had. This is the 3rd pattern jump smock, it also known as the Model 1942 or M42 jump smock.
The 3rd pattern smock was the first fully front opening smock the previous models were both step in models. This replica 3rd pattern smock by Richard Underwood Militaria (R.U.M.) is an accurate reproduction of the factory made 3rd pattern smock, some M40 or second pattern smocks were converted into 3rd pattern smocks and these have slight differences and by looking at original period photographs you will see the differences in the converted and factory made 3rd pattern jump smocks.
Made in Tan and Water camouflage.
