German Army WW2 Breast Eagle For The M42 Tunic In Bevo by RUM
German Army, Heer, M42 breast eagle for WW2 German Army tunics.
The German Army breast eagle colour shades changed a few times during WW2, this is the type that was often wore on the M1942 (M42) wool tunic.
This German breast eagle is made in the BeVo style with a grey/green eagle with a dark green surround and a light green back ground. The light green background is not seen when the eagle badge is sewn onto a tunic. The colour of the eagle is darker than the M40 eagle but a little lighter in colour than the M43 eagle.
This was usually worn on the M42 tunics, but would have been worn on other models.
Part of the Richard Underwood Militaria range of German insignia.
