German Infantry Officers Leutnant Field Uniform 1941-44
This uniform set would have been worn by a WW2 German Infantry leutnant in the Field. Officers were required to purchase their own uniforms from a military tailor made to a standard pattern but there was always some slight variations.
This is an Infantry Officers uniform as the cap, shoulder boards and collar patches are all piped in white WaffenFarbe, the tunic is made from a special blend of Fabric and has 5 pebbled buttons down the front which are painted green for a Field Officer.
Tall officers jack boots and breeches were a mark of a German officer and were still worn till near the end if the war.
