German WW2 Heer Bergmutze Mountain Cap by EREL

The famous German Bergmutze cap.

This sought after cap is similar to the M43 cap, as it formed the basis for the M43 cap, but it has distinctive differences like the shorter peak.

This Heer version of the Bergmutze is made by EREL in Germany and is a very high quality reproduction. The original caps had the "T" formed combined insignia sewn on the front usually by hand and a metal edelweiss badge on the side.

The Bergmutze cap has a shorter peak than the M43 field caps and a part leather headband on the inside (headband is only on the front where the peak is). Includes the insignia.

The Bergmutze by EREL features:
