The Home Guard haversack by Kay canavs
This Haversack was specially made and Issued only to Home Guard soldiers during WW2 to carry their rations, spare warm clothes etc while on duty. It was carried over the left shoulder to allow the soldier to get to the contents easier.
The Haversack is made of a double layered and embossed rubberised cotton the same fabric as the water proof Capes with a brass buckle and has a fixed shoulder strap.
The shoulder strap is adjustable just like the originals with with sections of the starp stiched so youn just cut the cotton stiching for the amount required
The Kay Canvas bag has been made with a much larger starp to fit soldiers from Small to XXXXL
