WW1 Veterans Trio & India General Service Ribbon Bar
IGS (India General Service) and WW1 trio Ribbon bar.
The India General service medal was issued from 1908 to 1935 and would have been worn at the end of WW1 by soldiers who served in the campaigns North West Frontier 1908 and Afghanistan 1919 with their WW1 trio set on the SD tunic.
It could also have been worn by an old soldier who was either a career man and served since WW1 or re-enlisted back in WW2 as the average age of a WW1 veteran in WW2 would have been 35 years.
