This is the second class grade of Iron Cross which was worn suspended from a ribbon.
This version is a quality badge made from metal and includes the correct WW1 ribbon which is black with 2 white stripes.
The Iron cross has the German Imperial crown with the letter W and the date 1914 on the front of the cross. The design on the back has the Imperial crown with the letters FW underneath the crown and 3 oak leaves in the middle of the cross and the date 1813 at the bottom.
