This pair of German WW2 Waffen SS Infantry black wool shoulder boards have the LAH (Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler) letters embroidered directly onto the shoulder boards.
These are the standard Waffen SS Infantry shoulder (black wool boards with white Infantry piping) with addition of the LAH letters on them.
The LAH (usually abbreviated to 1st SS Pz.Div LSSAH) was Adolf Hitler’s personal bodyguard and one of the most famous combat units in WW2. The LAH fought in almost every major campaign in WW2
