This Luftwaffe blue wool flieger blouse tunic is made in the 1940 design pattern so it has the internal first field dressing pouch, pockets with button down flaps and the breast eagle is sewn on using the style of stitching used in the factory which is a zig zag pattern.

German WW2 flying blouse, the Fliegerbluse was not a paratrooper specific item as it was issue to air crew and paratroopers. This replica fliegerbluse has the basic insignia sewn onto it for a fallschirmjager (paratrooper).
This Luftwaffe blue wool flieger blouse tunic is made by Richard Underwood Militaria and is made in the 1940 design pattern so it has the internal first field dressing pouch, pockets with button down flaps and the breast eagle is sewn on using the style of stitching used in the factory which is a zig zag pattern. The first enlisted flying blouses did not have any breast eagles or pockets only the Officers which where privately purchased had pockets and hand embroidered breast eagles.
This high quality reproduction fliegerbluse by Richard Underwood Militaria has all the original details of the model made in and after 1940 like:
- Two lower pockets covered with a flap and fastened by a metal pebbled button painted blue.
- Front is fastened by 5 plastic buttons which are concealed in the flap.
- Metal hook and hook fastener on the neck.
- Three buttons on the inside of the neck to attach a collar liner (collar liner not included).
- Short length design.
- Shoulder straps (epaulettes) are included and are removable and have a yellow edging. Earlier model tunic had the shoulder straps sewn on into the shoulders.
- Cloth breast eagle sewn on with a zig zag stitch pattern.
- Luftwaffe yellow collar tabs are sewn on, but you need to purchase your metal rank gulls separately and attach them yourself.
- Row of three eyelets on each side to hold the belt hooks (belt hooks not included).
- 2 internal suspension straps with eyelets in them for the belt hooks to fasten into.
- Two internal chest pockets are fastened with a plastic button.
- Internal field dressing pocket is fastened with a plastic button, there where no internal field dressing pockets on the earlier models of fliegerbluse.
- Shoulders are lined with Viscose which is a man made artificial silk material, that was used for linings in German tunics and caps in WW2.
