This is a full combat webbing set worn by a German Luftwaffe Paratrooper, Infantry soldier in the Herman Goring division or a Luftwaffe airman guarding an airfield while serving in Afrika from 1941 to 1943 who would be armed with the German K98 rifle.

Luftwaffe K98 Rifleman’s webbing set 1941-43
This is a full combat webbing set worn by a German Luftwaffe Paratrooper, Infantry soldier in the Herman Goring division or a Luftwaffe airman guarding an airfield while serving in Afrika from 1941 to 1943 who would be armed with the German K98 rifle.
This webbing set allows the German Luftwaffe man to carry everything that he needs from the bayonet and ammunition for his K98 rifle to his entrenching tool to dig a trench to the bread bag to carry his rations.
The German Infantry Tropical webbing set is built around the Canvas webbing equipment belt where the K98 ammunition pouches, entrenching tool, bayonet frog is fitted on the belt with the water bottle and mess tins clipped onto the Bread bag. The Y straps clip onto the K98 ammo pouches at the front and over the belt at the back. and the gas mask tin is slung over the shoulder.
The k98 Infantry webbing set consists of the following:
- Canvas equipment belt.
- German Luftwaffe belt buckle painted sand
- Brown leather K98 ammunition pouches, set of 2.
- DAK Water bottle.with cup
- Tan canvas bread bag.
- Straight handle entrenching tool.
- Tan Canvas carrier for entrenching
- Gas mask tin and carrying straps.
- Tan Canvas leather Y straps.
- Tan Mess tin with Tan canvas strap.
