Lufwaffe Blue Gaiters by Richard Underwood Militaria

Luftwaffe blue gamaschen (gaiters).

These are high quality war time pattern gaiters for the Luftwaffe ground troops. Worn with the low boot these are made in blue cotton canvas with black leather straps and edging and are sold in pairs.

These are made from a nice soft cotton fabric like the originals and not really stiff canvas like some replicas.

WW2 Luftwaffe blue gaiters by Richard Underwood Militaria features:

• Blue cotton gaiters made from two layers of soft cotton material.
• Vertical leather reinforcement strip (approximately 1" wide) is stitched in between the two layers so it cannot be seen.
• Black leather edging along the bottom.
• Black leather tabs and black buckles.
• White stitching on the leather tabs.
• Three holes in the tab for size adjustment.

Sizes.

• Size 2 is the standard size of gaiter and will fit most people. If you lay the gaiter flat on the floor the top of the canvas measures 36cm and the bottom of the canvas (with the edge with the leather trim) measures 31cm.
• Size 3 has the following measurements when you lay the gaiter flat on the floor the top of the canvas measures 40cm and the bottom of the canvas (with the edge with the leather trim) measures 36cm.
