M1887 leather sling for the 45.70 Springfield Trapdoor.
This sling was also used on the Krag until the US Army adopted the M1903 sling.
Trapdoor sling features:
- Brown leather.
- Brass buckle on one end.
- Brass stud on the other end so the sling folds back to make a loop.
- 3.5cm wide 161cm long (measured with the loop folded back into the stud).
