M1910 Canteen Cover US WW2 M1944 OD7 Water Bottle Pouch Green by Kay Canvas

American WW2 M1910 canteen (water bottle) carrier pouch in the late war (1943/1944) OD#7 dark green colour webbing.

This is the standard belt pouch for the US WW2 water bottle and was issued to all US Army branch of services.

The pouch is made of green (officially called OD#7) cotton webbing with "U.S." stamped on the front. It has the standard WW2 belt fitting on the back.

This has the correct late war back so it has a half seam (seam is only at the top) and teh larger reinforced webbing panel which holds the belt hanger in place.

The inside is wool lined and the pouch is closed by two lift the dot fasteners.

This pouch was first issued in WW2 and was still being used by the USMC in Vietnam as part of the M61 webbing set, so it can be used for your late WW2 impession or a Vietnam Marines loadout.
