M1910 Water Bottle Set by Combat Serviceable

The US Army in World War Two basically used the same canteen (water bottle) as they used in World War One. When the M1910 canteen and cover was introduced it was one of the most advanced designs in the world, the design basically stayed the same up to and through out WW2 as the design was so good.

This American M1910 canteen set (the American name for a water bottle is a canteen) was used by all US Army branch of services including the Infantry, Armoured, Medics and Airborne Paratroopers.

This set consisits of the following items:

• Canteen (water bottle).
• Mug.
• Carrier.

The M1910 canteen carrier by Combat Serviceable features:

• Standard WW2 belt fitting, has the metal belt hook on the back to attach it to the metal eyelets on the M36 pistol belt, Garand belt or the BAR belt.
• Fastened by two left the dot type fasteners.
• Made from cotton.
• "U.S." stamped on the front.
• Lined with modern fleece not noticeable when the canteen is inside.
• Colour OD#3 which is a tan/khaki colour.
