M1928 Doughboy pack by Kay Canvas

The M1928 Doughboy pack was the standard infantry pack during WW2 and was used by all the Infantry units including the Rangers.

This is made by Kay canvas using premium quality cotton webbing, for the best results.

The eyelets on the back and side are 5cm apart so the correct size for the belt hangers on the bayonet scabbards and entrenching tool covers to fit on.

The shoulder straps are longer than the originals, so they fit the modern man better.

The rear strap measures 33cm and the front strap measures 81cm from the last row of stitching where the shoulder straps are fixed to the back of the pack to to the tip of the buckle on the longest strap when fully extended.

Price is for the main M1928 pack only, it does not include the front pouch for the mess tins or the pack extension.

The pack has a large U.S. stamped on the front and Kay Canvas 1942 on the back.

Premium quality webbing pouch, these are made by Kay Canvas using the best fabrics. The metal is brass not steel and the cotton canvas webbing has the correct weight and weave of the originals for a high quality pouch. These are as good as originals, they just do not have that old musty smell to them.

Made in the correct WW2 colour of OD#3 which is a tan/khaki colour.
