M2 Knife Lanyard For US Airborne Pocket Knife
M2 pocket knife lanyard made from Parachute cord.
This was usually looped around the shoulder epaulette of the M42 parachute jacket and then the other end looped onto the M2 pocket knife which was stored in the special pocket by the throat.
The parachute cord has a loop sewn into each end so they are easy to loop onto your knife.
The cord used in these lanyards are cut from camouflage cargo parachutes that we used to have a few years ago. The camouflage parachutes we cut up into scarves.
Overall length is approximately 50cm.
