M40 Army Tropical DAK Tunic 1st Pattern No badges by RUM
WW2 M40 German Army tropical tunic worn by the DAK.
Cotton 4 pocket tunic worn by the German Deutsches Afrikakorps (DAK).
Features:
- Front is closed by 5 buttons which have a pebble finish.
- Four pockets on the front which all have a centre pleat on them.
- All buttons are closed by a single button which have a pebble finish.
- Includes shoulder boards with white infantry piping.
- Green cotton.
This is the M40 or the first model tunic which has pleats down the centre of each pocket on the later model the pockets had no pleats and the M40 has shaped pocket flaps by the end of the war the pocket flaps where cut straight.
This tunic does not included the breast eagle or collar litzen, see item RUM377 for the same tunic with the badges already sewn on.
