M56 Pistol Belt with Davis Buckle

During the 1960s the US Army developed a quick release belt buckle to go onto the M56 webbing. This is a metal buckle which is fitted onto a 2nd pattern M56 belt which has horizontal weave webbing.
Sizes:
- Regular belt measures up to 42" long.
- Long belt measures up to 54" long.
Stamped on the inside "Belt individual equipment M56".
