This helmet is a very rare example of a 7th Armoured Division Helmet which has the original sand paint finish with plenty of age and wear. The 7th armoured Division Red Rat painted on the front is just visible.
This helmet was bought in Milano in 2014 and was presumably taken as a war trophy during WW2 by an Italian soldier
