MKII Lightweight Gas Mask with MK2 Filter and Bag (Original)
Original WW2 British Army lightweight gas mask and Haversack bag.
The MKII Lightweight gas mask was issued from March 1943 and by the time of D Day in June 1944 all assault troops would have been issued this new model.
Please Note the gas mask does not contain any asbestos, this model was the first made with Carbon as the filter

The MKII lightweight haversacks was issued to carry the Lightweight mask either on a sling/shoulder strap or on the belt ( the brass belt hooks have been removed from these bags as they were purchased by the Danish civil Defence in the 1950's but never issued) these can be purchased or made from a wire coat hanger.
- MK2 filter are the Wartime issue large size but are dated 1950's (contains Charcoal) unissued condition
- MKII Gas mask WW2 dated
- MKII bag is WW2 dated, slightly used which comes with shoulder strap.
