US M42 Jump Suit by Kay Canvas
US M42 para suit by Kay Canvas manufacturing is a replica of the combat uniform worn by the US para's of the 82nd Airborne Division and the 101st Airborne on D-Day on the 6th June 1944 in Normandy and is only available from Soldier of Fortune.
This is the reinforced version of the M42 jump uniform which helped make the standard M1942 jump jacket and trousers stronger as the US paras found the standard issue M42 jump suit needed stronger pockets as the paras carried more in the pockets than the suits where originally designed to carry.
The "Kay Canvas" M42 jump uniform has been researched to be one of the most accurate replica para suits on the market today. Kay canvas has addressed the problem that some M42 trousers have in the strength of the seat by having a stronger panel sewn on the inside of the seam.
