Quality North Vietnam nylon flag with a sewn on yellow star in the centre with cords on the edges.
This is a heavy nylon red flag with a yellow star sewn onto the middle, this is not a printed nylon flag. The edge as a white border down one side which has a cord loop on one side and short length of cord on the order side.

The red flag with a yellow star was used by North Vietnam between 1941 and 1975.
The flag of North Vietnam was used by the Viet Minh the communist-led organization created in 1941 to oppose Japanese occupation. At the end of World War II, Viet Minh leader Ho Chi Minh proclaimed Vietnam independent and signed a decree on September 5, 1945 adopting the flag as the flag of the North Vietnam until the end of the Vietnam War in 1975
