The late war cap badge is the combined glider and parachute design with a red trim which was used at the Battle of the Bulge and at the end of the war in Germany.
This Officers cap was worn from Lieutenants to Colonels.
The American Officers in World War Two where issued the Officers Service peak cap but when they where sent to England they where issued the Overseas Garrison cap. This side cap was made in the dark OD 51 colour with a gold and black hat braid.
