Panzer Assault Badge Bronze by RUM

German WW2 Panzer Assault badge in Bronze by Richard Underwood Militaria.

This badge does not have as much wear to the finish than some of our other panzer assault badges.

The Bronze award of the Panzer Assault was awarded to Armoured personnel (but not tank crew) like half tracks, assault guns etc. The Panzer Assault in Bronze was also awarded to Panzer Grenadiers Regiments, Armoured Recon and any other personnel who went into battle in armoured vehicles that where not classed as tanks. To receive this  award you needed to have participated in 3 separate armoured assaults.
