RAF Fighter Pilot Desert Air Force Libya 1941
In 1941 the RAF Desert Airforce would have been operating at a forward Air base usually no more than a strip of sand that had been graded to give some sort of level ground to take off and return. The Battle between Allies and the German Africa Korp was very fluid and they would have to move quickly as the battle field changed direction so the RAF Pilots would be able to only carry very few items that would fit into his Hurricane.
The set consists of all the items listed below under the "Pack Contains" heading, here you are able to select any sizes if applicable. The image is indicative of the pack but please refer to the Pack Contains for the items included.

The Fighter Pilot would have been allowed to wear what would be practical in the hot and dusty conditions so he's opted for KD Airtex shirt with KD shorts, a Forage cap that could fold up small and a soft private purchase Desert boots plus just in case he has to crash land behind enemy lines he's equipped with a webbing belt and pistol holster for his Webley.
Rank Insignia is worn on the shirt with slip on KD slides and Pilots wings would be sewn on above the left pocket.
