US 1942 WW2 Paratroopers M42 Jump Trousers Reinforced D-Day Airborne model by Kay Canvas

American WW2 Normandy Airborne M42 Para trousers.

These are the reinforced model which was used in Normandy by the 82nd Airborne and the 101st Airborne Divisions on Operation Overlord, the D-Day landings.

These American WW2 M1942 reinforced jump trousers are made by Kay Canvas Manufacturing and are one of the most accurate available. This is the 2022 production run and match the 2022 production jump jackets as they where made at the same time.

Oficially called "Trouser, Parachute Jumper, Model M1942".

The “Kay Canvas” M42 jump uniform has been researched with help from various people including the "Screaming Eagles" re-enactment group.

These pants are more accurate than other M42 jump trousers as they have the correct style of press studs (only the outer part of the stud is black the rest is nickel) which are made by "Scovill" a war time manufacturer, its the correct design and the extra finishing touches like the press studs that make the difference.

Features as the originals include:

• Nickel press studs with a black front made "Scovill"
• Baggier fit in the width of the legs, just like the originals.
• Waist sizes are correct sizing just order your normal size.
• Button fly.
• 32" inside leg so they are long enough to tuck into jump boots without them coming out.
