This set is what Royal Military Police Soldiers would have worn on their Battle Dress clothing when based in UK and on combat operations.

• British 3rd Infantry Division during Operation Overlord invasion of Europe Normandy June  1944 

This Badge set would have been worn by all soldiers in the Royal Military Police on their BD Battle Dress uniform in Operation Overlord the Invasion of Normandy as part of the 3rd Division when they arrived in June 1944, 

He would wear his Divisional patch, Sergeant stripes and Infantry Arm of service stripes on both upper Arms with his Regimental shoulder titles above these and to complete the set an MP always wore his Black MP Armband worn on right arm and a white whistle lanyard
