This is now a highly desirable Denison smock especially in this very Nice condition, The 1959 pattern Denison smock was worn by all Battalions of the British Parachute regiment from the early 1960's until the end of the 1970's, when the DPM Para smock was introduced The 1959 Denison Smock is remembered as the Para smock most often seen worn on Brit Paras in Northern Ireland It was teamed up with DMS Ankle boots, short putties and lightweight trousers and not forgetting the Para Beret.

- Full length Brass zip with Areo Nickle zip puller,
- Heavyweight denim cotton fabric
- Original white label inside 1962 dated
- Nickle Newey press studs painted green
- Knitted replacement woolen cuffs, original ones in pocket
- Rear crotch flap attached at rear
- Waist adjustable tabs have both been resewn back on
- Back panel has been repaired professionally
- Stitching on right shows para wings and DZ flash
- Left side show DZ patch
Zipper end is damaged but for display purposes it can be zipped up properly
