Original postcard showing a Cheshire Yeomanry soldier who was the Squadron blacksmith from Birkenhead and over 40 years ago we bought all his stuff and this is the last item we have just found. the soldier wears the cheshire Regiment cap badge as they had become an infantry battalion in France   He possbily served in the 3rd battalion cheshire yeomanry as they transfered to cheshire regiment
