The Helve carrier fastened to the strap at the bottom of the bayonet frog and carried the wooden helve (handle) of the entrenching tool, so the handle sat alongside the bayonet.
25 cm (1") leather strap with a brass buckle on the top and two 20 cm straps coming off to the sides. The side straps are riveted onto the main strap. The top strap has a buckle closure and the lower strap is a fixed size. Leather has a Ripple finish.
Price is for the Helve carrier only, the helve and bayonet frog are not included.
