In 1947 the British Army issued a Khaki version of the Jungle hat for troops serving in hot dusty conditions like Palestine and Egypt. Made from the same tough Khaki Drill fabric as the bush jackets It was smart, pratical and proved very popular with British Soldiers so much so its still issued in camouflage today to serving soldiers
While not actually WW2 issue it is a pratical cap to wear while relaxing in your KD uniforms
